Mike is essentially a portrait photographer. His base photographic work is centered on capturing something authentic of a person. The kind of authenticity that carries with it a presence, a presence of self reflecting variations between his own self and that of the subject. His focus is on the things he feels, rather than the things that he sees. This attention on authenticity also extends into documentary photography, arguably the most genuine portrayal of life, people and events. 

Mike has travelled the world with Aurora Sprengel (Poetic Minx) for the last five years, documenting the behind-the-scenes moments of life on the road for an international travelling model, which are destined for a book which he and Aurora Sprengel are currently working on - “The Life of a Travelling Model”.

Mike is currently based in Poland and continues to take his photography around the world on regular trips throughout Europe, Canada, USA, Asia, UK, and Australia.
