Critical Seeing
2 × 60 minute sessions, live online or face-to-face delivery.
There are photographic workshops, courses and tutorials that teach the primary mechanical elements of composition, lighting, camera technicals and even software babble, but I haven’t seen any that guide photographers toward making better pictures.
A picture may have all those base-level technical ingredients and could be the most technically perfect picture ever made, but these are low level considerations that have little impact on how “good” an image is.
Also🌞most courses/workshops have poor learning design, meaning learning benefit is limited.
This course is different.
It’s designed around developing perception and intuition, instinct and decision-making - the foundations of real photographic seeing and memorable pictures. This has little to do with cameras.
Really what that means, is abandoning all those ugly rules that govern the above elements of composition, lighting, technical etc etc.
Plug: designed by a professional Learning Designer with 30+ years experience working in training & education from universities through to the corporate sector.
